The Encyclopedia of Eastern Orthodox Christianity Has Been Published

Oxford, March 1, 2011. The first two-volume (872 page) reference work in English on the Eastern Orthodox Church has been published by Wiley-Blackwell. The Encyclopedia of Eastern Orthodox Christianity was edited by the Rev. Fr. John McGuckin and contains essays by seventy authors.

The first two-volume (872 page) reference work in English on the Eastern Orthodox Church has been published by Wiley-Blackwell. The Encyclopedia of Eastern Orthodox Christianity was edited by the  Rev. Fr. John McGuckin and contains essays by seventy authors. Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary is represented by Hierodeacon Samuel (Nedelsky) — a former member of the faculty who contributed articles on Dostoesvsky, education, and Imiaslavie — and by Deacon Andrei Psarev, currently an instructor at Holy Trinity Seminary, who contributed articles on the topics of canon law, canonization, exarch, excommunication, and repentance.
