From 2017 through 2024, Patreon served as the primary social media platform through which I shared my work in church history and canon law. During those years, I published reflections on academic life, conferences, archival discoveries, and travel connected with my research and teaching. Gradually, this work developed into a substantial archive of more than 800 posts devoted to the history of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, Byzantine canon law, and the lived experience of church scholarship.
In 2024, I moved my ongoing work to Substack. As part of this transition, I made a deliberate decision not to place the earlier Patreon material behind a paywall. Instead, with the support of the Fund for Assistance to the Russian Church Abroad, the entire archive has been made freely accessible to anyone who registers on Patreon, without any payment or subscription requirement.
The complete archive is available here:

To explore the material, simply register on Patreon, visit the ROCOR Studies page, and click on “Collections.” The posts are organized thematically, making it easier to navigate topics such as the history of the Russian Church Abroad, canon law, Byzantine history, and related subjects.
I encourage readers to take advantage of this opportunity and explore the collections at their own pace. My hope is that making this material freely available will allow it to continue serving students, clergy, scholars, and all who are interested in the historical and canonical life of the Church.
