The Fund for Assistance (FFA) to the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia has existed since 1959 and is the main charitable organization of the ROCOR. A historian may argue that the Bolshevik regime had assaulted the Russian Orthodox Church as part of the imperial state apparatus. Still, no reasonable Christian would challenge the sanctity of New Martyrs manifested as the result of this persecution. Although no persecution on that scale is taking place in Ukraine, I believe the Church there will attract many as it did in Russia by showing them the face of genuine Christianity
