ROCOR-STUDIES

Dear reader,

Greetings on the forthcoming feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God!

A generational change has slowly taken place. Four days apart from each other passed away two Church servants. One is world-renowned, and the other is not. They both grew up in England and discovered the beauty of Orthodoxy in the Russian Orthodox Church in Exile, which missionized not through outreaches but through beautiful worship, simplicity, and authenticity in its people.

At the beginning of this summer, I set up a fundraiser aimed at helping me to focus on my projects while providing for my family's needs. My request was for $5000. The outcome exceeded my expectations. As of today, we have collected $8204. There are still eight days in the summer by the Gregorian calendar and twenty-one by the Julian. And if you find what I have been doing valuable, you could support my work further using the link provided in the Big Thank You Note below. Thank you to all who have donated.

Thank you for your continuing interest,

    Protodeacon Andrei

Both Metropolitan Kallistos and Fr. Seraphim (Rose) belonged to the same generation of English-speaking people who were astonished by the beauty of the Orthodox faith.
