It is hard to find words to say anything outside banality on this new year's eve. I hope the new year will not be more difficult than this one. And I wish you all and your near ones a peaceful and memorable feast of Christ's nativity.

Then I would like first of all to thank those of you who have supported our mission to apply the proper methodology to the studies of ROCOR history. And I thank you all who have subscribed to this newsletter because, without your interest in the history of the Russian Church Abroad, our team would have much less inspiration to carry on with research, editing, and publication of new materials.

No "jurisdiction" in North America has a website similar to ROCOR Studies. I am writing this not to boast but to let you know that you have been part of something meaningful. I know we can only boast in the Cross (Gal. 6:14).
