ROCOR-STUDIES

Dear reader,

Greetings on the feast of Pentecost!

There is nothing on the notion of autocephaly in the almost eight hundred canons of the Orthodox Church. Therefore, I am delighted to share a research paper on this highly topical matter by the Russian émigré scholar Prof. Mykhail Zyzykin. A Canadian donor generously covered the cost of translating this piece into English (USD 800) and editing it (USD 200).

We are also paying for an associate's time spent on digitizing many hours of audio recordings. Here is one of them. This recording was made on the feast of Pentecost in 1986. If you disagree with the date, please let me know.
