Greetings on the feast of the Lord’s Transfiguration!

I am glad to share this recording of the All-Night Vigil on the feast of Transfiguration in Holy Trinity Monastery in the 1980s. There is also a piece on reconstructing the attitude toward the Church within the White Army. It is a piece that may help us to understand the first generation of members of the Russian Church Abroad.

I have been busy with “This Day in the Life of the Church” since the beginning of July, producing texts for daily communications and raising funds to run this 365-day-long church history marathon! The fundraiser ends on the feast of Transfiguration, and as of now we are less than 500 dollars short in Kickstarter pledges of the 10,000 goal. The Fund for Assistance to the Russian Church Abroad has become the principal benefactor of this project.
