About Historical Studies of the Russian Church Abroad

In 2008, rocorstudies.org was developed as the official website for the Historical Studies of the Russian Church Abroad by Subdeacon Andrei Psarev as a meeting place for those attentive to the past & present state of the ROCOR.

These conversations about the past are based upon historical methodology with a healthy respect for each subject researched, and an indiscriminate approach to the facts studied. The dialogue about the present establishes the same methodology for those who recognize the value of candid conversation.

We hope you enjoy this site.

Historical Studies of the Russian Church Abroad

Conversations about the Church

The website serves to promote knowledge about crucial people and events of the past and to tell a story of those who work hard on making a difference in the present-day of this Church. The conversation about the past is based on historical methodology, which requires respect to be shown to subjects of research and the study of all facts indiscriminately. The dialogue about the present is based on the same methodology for those who recognize the value of candid conversations.
